Xiaoping Wang received his BS, MS, and Ph.D degrees in computer science from the National University of Defence Technology, in 2003, 2005, 2010, respectively. He workd as an assistant professor in the National University of Defence Technology from 2010 to 2018. During that time, he was one of the major contributers of Tianhe-1(A) and Tianhe-2 supercomputers. He is now an associate professor in the Hunan University.
王小平在国防科技大学计算机学院获得学士、硕士、博士学位,在2009年作为访问学者赴香港科技大学访问1年。于2010年在国防科技大学计算机学院任助理研究员,从事高性能计算机系统和算法理论的研究,作为技术骨干参与了“天河一号”和“天河二号”,以及两代银河系统的技术攻关工作,在超级计算机自治管理系统、基于机器学习的故障自动诊断系统、自主计算机固件系统、高性能并行运行时系统和存储系统等方面取得突破性成果,为银河、天河超级计算机系统软件和飞腾自主CPU做出突出贡献,获军队科技进步一等奖1项。作为项目负责人主持军队预研项目2项,国家自然科学基金面上项目1项,以及重点实验室开放课题1项,发表学术论文70余篇,据百度学术不完全统计成果被引用次数达到600次以上,获得技术发明专利授权10项,软件著作权1项。2010年开始作为实际负责人指导博士13人、硕士26人。现为湖南大学信息科学与工程学院副教授。
